Our commitment

At Forgotten Place, we are committed to creating places that inspire, connect, and endure. Our values are the cornerstone of our approach, guiding every project and interaction, from initial concept to final delivery. These values shape the way we work with clients, collaborators, and consultants, ensuring that every project reflects our dedication to quality, integrity, and sustainable development.

The values of Forgotten Place have been built off the back of our founder, Susie Morris’ nineteen years experience in the construction industry. Susie’s breadth of design and construction experience in a range of sectors from residential, heritage and commercial brings a wealth of knowledge to any project. With this she brings a clear vision; to deliver exceptional service while creating thoughtful, beautiful places. Her passion is unlocking the hidden potential in projects, whether it be a greenfield site, a dilapidated building or a family home.

Our studio

The Forgotten Place studio is based in the beautiful Calico building in central Manchester.

If you want to chat about an idea, a potential project, or simply to meet the office dog, Boo, please reach out.

Our mission

We aim to provide excellent service for our clients hand-in-hand with creating considered and beautiful places.

We believe in the power of teamwork, working closely with our clients and councils to create the best possible results together. We uphold the highest standards in every aspect of our business, ensuring transparency, honesty, and trust in our relationships with clients, collaborators and consultants.

We’re always open to enquiries, however large, small or early-stage your project may be. Get in touch.

Close to our heart. Our founder, Susie, is one of the ‘rockstars’ of She Builds UK, an organisation that inspires young women to consider working in the construction industry, by celebrating those that already do.
